Solenoid Mining Machine Fire Suppression Systems FFS Kit for Mining

In Mining industry, the highly expensive and vital equipment are under extreme hazards for their constant day and night operation in harsh environments.The main threat a mining operation faces with is a fire.

The systems typically consist in extinguishing agent stored in pressurized cylinders that are connected to the pneumatic
valve,discharge pipework and nozzles. During a fire,the detection tube ruptures a hole and release the pressure to move up the piston of valves ,and then the agent is released to put out fire with the fire alarm rising triggered by the signal from the pressure switch.

The systems provide a great protection to enclosed spaces,especially for the engine compartment,being widely used for mining machines such as Dump Trucks,Excavators, Drill Rigs,Crushers,Screeners,Weigh feeders etc.

Note: For Vehicle Engine Room, we can choose different fire agents, such as Water, AFFF3% Foam, FK-51112, or Dry Powder agents. The different systems are with different discharge tube and nozzles.
 

Mining Fire System-- Temperature Detection Cable Type & Solenoid Valve Working Mechanism:

1. The detection cable is flexible, it connects to control panel, and detect the temperature anywhere in protected space, once temperature reach 180ºC(or 138ºC), the detection cable send signal to control panel, and control panel will activate the solenoid valve to open it, then the fire agent was discharged from discharge pipes and nozzles, and activate the fire alarm at the same time, and the control panel will output signal to vehicle controller for shutting off the engine.

2. On the control panel, there is a manual button, reset button, lights, etc. in Emergency pushing the manual button can activate the fire system too. And the control panel was connect to 2pcs or more remote manual buttons. If the detection cable not connected to control panel or damaged the, the control panel will alarm.
