Woring Principle:
The FM200 Total Flooding System operates based on a simple yet effective principle:
Fire Detection: The system is equipped with highly sensitive smoke and heat detectors that continuously monitor the protected area. Upon detecting a fire, the system automatically activates.
Agent Release: Once activated, the FM200 agent is rapidly discharged from pressurized cylinders through a network of distribution piping. The gas is evenly distributed throughout the protected space, ensuring complete coverage.
Fire Suppression: FM200 suppresses the fire primarily through heat absorption. The gas absorbs heat energy from the fire, lowering the temperature to the point where combustion can no longer be sustained. Additionally, FM200 interferes with the chemical reaction of the fire, further inhibiting the combustion process.
Post-Discharge: After the fire is extinguished, the FM200 gas quickly dissipates, leaving no residue behind. This allows for immediate access to the protected area for recovery operations and minimizes the impact on operations.
