FK-5-1-12 / Novec-1230 Clean Agent Total Flooding Fire Systems
When the control mode selection key on the automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishing controller is set to the "auto" position, the fire extinguishing system is under automatic control. When a fire occurs in the protection area, the temperature and smoke detectors will send out a fire signal through the automatic fire alarm and extinguishing control. After the logic analysis of the device, it sends out a combined sound and light alarm signal, and sends out a linkage command at the same time to close the linkage device. After a delay, a fire extinguishing command is issued, the starting valve is opened to release the starting gas and the starting gas is opened through the control gas pipeline valves and container valves release the fire extinguishing agent and implement fire extinguishing.

2. Components of Pipe Network Pnematic Valve Type FK-5-1-12 / Novec-1230 Fire Suppression Systems
1. Storage cylinder: Cylinder, container valve (with pilot valve, pressure indicator), dip tube, etc.
2. Liquid check valve: Assure one way flow of fire suppression agent, to prevent backflow.
3. High pressure hose: Connect cylinder valve and liquid check valve .
4. Safety valve: Fitted on the manifold to relieve higher pressure.
5. Selection valve: Guide fire suppression agent into different distribution pipe network.
6. Starting gas bottle: Bottle, container valve, electromagnetic drive device, pressure gauge.
7. Gas check valve: Assure one way flow of starting gas, to prevent backflow.
8. Low leakage high sealing valve: For accumulated starting gas release so to avoid malfunction of system.
9. Discharge Nozzle: Fitted at the end of pipe network to discharge fire suppressing agent.

A water mist system is a fire protection system which uses very fine water sprays (i.e. water mist). The small water droplets allow the water mist to control, suppress or extinguish fires by:
Cooling both the flame and surrounding gases by evaporation---Absorb Heat&Cooling
Displacing oxygen by evaporation---Isolate Oxygen
Attenuating radiant heat by the small droplets themselves---Isolate Heat
The effectiveness of a water mist system in fire suppression depends on its spray characteristics, which include the droplet size distribution, spray density and spray dynamics, with respect to the fire scenario, such as the shielding of the fuel, fire size and ventilation conditions.
So really high pressure system, specialized tubing or piping that's used for that. Now, there are differences between water mist systems and the droplet sizes that they produce, so typically the smaller the water droplet size the better it is at extinguishing a hot fire. Larger droplets can work faster on lower temperature fires, but they all work for the systems that they're approved for or listed for.
